Riwayat Hidup KH. Sholeh Iskandar
Sholeh Iskandar atau sekarang masyarakat Bogor mengenalnya sebagai nama jalan protokol KH. Sholeh Iskandar yang terbentang dari Jalan Raya Kedung Halang, Kecamatan Bogor Utara dan Jalan Raya Semplak, Kecamatan Bogor Barat adalah seorang tokoh pejuang sekaligus ulama yang lahir di Desa Situ Udik, Kecamatan Cibungbulang, Kabupaten Bogor, 22 Juni 1922. Ia adalah anak kedua dari lima bersaudara, terlahir dari pasangan H. Muhammad Arif Marsa dan Hj. Atun Halimah.2 Ia lahir dari keluarga yang agamis dan taat terhadap agama karena masih keturunan seorang ulama besar Banten yaitu H. Tubagus Arfin yang merupakan kakek KH. Sholeh Iskandar dari pihak ibunya yaitu Hj. Atun Halimah.
Sekilas Tempat Kelahiran KH Soleh Iskandar
Sekilas tentang Desa Situ Udik yang merupakan tempat kelahiran KH. Sholeh Iskandar adalah sebuah desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Cibungbulang, Kabupaten Bogor. Desa Situ Udik sendiri di sebelah utara berbatasan dengan Desa Situ Ilir Kecamatan Cibungbulang, di sebelah timur berbatasan dengan Desa Cimayang dan Desa Gunung Menyan Kecamatan Pamijahan, di sebelah selatan berbatasan dengan Desa Pasarean Kecamatan Pamijahan, dan kemudian di sebelah Barat berbatasan dengan Desa Karacak dan Desa Karya Sari Kecamatan Leuwiliang. Adapula sebagian sumber menyebutkan bahwa KH. Sholeh Iskandar dilahirkan di Desa Pasarean yang masuk ke dalam wilayah Pamijahan, namun menurut dokumen bidata pribadi KH. Sholeh Iskandar menuliskan bahwa KH. Sholeh Iskandar dilahirkan di Gunung Handeuleum, tepatnya Desa Situ Udik, Kecamatan Cibungbulang, Kabupaten Bogor, karena berdekatan di sebelah selatan dengan Desa Pasarean yang merupakan desa basis perjuangan kemerdekaan untuk wilayah Bogor tepatnya Leuwiliang, jadi ada kemungkinan bahwa sosok KH. Sholeh Iskandar dilahirkan di Pasarean, namun aslinya ia lahir di Desa Situ Udik meskipun memang banyak kegiatan aktifitas KH. Sholeh Iskandar di Desa Pasarean. Tidak banyak sumber yang menceritakan tentang masa kecilnya, rata-rata sumber yang didapatkan menceritakan KH. Sholeh Iskandar yang beranjak ramaja, karena diusia 16 tahun ia sudah aktif dalam kegiatan kepemudaan di kampung halamannya.
Mendirikan Organisasi Pemuda Muslim
Sebelumnya ia pernah mendirikan organisasi pemuda Muslim yang diberi nama Subbanul Muslimin (Pemuda
Muslimin) di daerah kelahirannya yaitu Cibungbulang Bogor. Terbukti bahwasanya sejak muda juga ia sangat aktif dalam bermasyarakat terutama dalam lingkungan kepemudaan di lingkungan daerahnya sendiri. Sejak muda KH. Sholeh Iskandar juga sudah tampil dan memimpin Barisan Islam Indonesia (BII), dan Pemuda Gerakan Indonesia (Perindo). Berkat keaktifannya dalam memimpin pasukan kepemudaan seperti itu membuatnya dipercaya dan banyak memiliki jaringan luas dalam masyarakat terutama berperan dalam gerakan kemerdekaan Indonesia seperti Hizbullah tepatnya untuk wilayah Leuwiliang-Jasinga, KH. Sholeh Iskandar di percaya memimpin Hizbullah karena pengalamannya yang banyak memimpin organisasi kepemudaan.
Masa mudanya dihabiskan dengan banyak berorganisasi meskipun memiliki rasa nasionalisme tinggi namun tetap saja latar belakang seorang KH. Sholeh Iskandar adalah santri yang berpendidikan pesantren, jadi selain peduli terhadap negara dan kemerdekaan masyarakatnya ia juga sangat rendah hati dan taat dalam beragama.
